OBSERVACIÓN DE FAUNA SALVAJE
Con nosotros tendrás la oportunidad de observar en su hábitat natural, a algunas de las especies que tenemos, como puede ser la cabra montesa, una de las especies más emblemáticas del sistema ibérico o si preferís, al buitre leonado en sus dormideros y cortados de cría.
La cabra montesa se encuentra en muchos lugares de España, aunque en nuestra Sierra de Albarracín hace relativamente poco tiempo que se ha establecido.
Observando la fauna de la Sierra de Albarracín
Os guiaremos a las zonas donde es posible encontrar diferentes especies de fauna.
Cabra montes (Capra pyrenaica sub. hispanica): para poderlas observar o fotografiar, entre las riscas. Partiremos a escasos 5 minutos de Albarracín, para posteriormente desplazarnos con un 4×4 hasta la zona de observación. Ya únicamente con las panorámicas de la localidad Albarracín a nuestros pies, desde otra perspectiva, vale la pena esta actividad.
Se aconseja salir a primera hora de la mañana o por la tarde a estas zonas de localización ya que es en esos cuando las cabras montesas muestran mayor actividad. Una vez llegados a las atalayas y miradores, las buscaremos con la ayuda de prismáticos y posteriormente, ya localizadas, colocaremos los catalejos para observarlas mejor.
Aves rupícolas: Principalmente podremos observar al buitre leonado, con una presencia abundante en los cortados de la Sierra de Albarracín, también podremos observar las chovas piquirrojas, el halcón peregrino, águila real, búho real…..
La actividad se desarrollará en una zona u otra de la Sierra, según las especies que se quieran observar, acompañados por el guía, iremos a zonas donde es habitual observar estas especies.
Ungulados; ciervo, corzo y gamo: Se recorrerán zonas donde habitualmente campean estas especies, para observarlas y con un poco de suerte poder fotografiarlas.
